New requirement for Employment agencies in Singapore to report NRIC/FIn numbers to MOM
Please note that under the new EALCs (Employment Agencies Licencies Conditions) Employment agencies must collect the personal data (e.g. NRIC or FIN numbers) of any jobseekers referred to employers for permanent or contract job positions of at least six months with a fixed monthly salary of $3,300 and above and submit the information to the Ministry of Manpower. This is a regulatory requirement that must be complied with by all licensed Employment Agencies.
We would like to confirm that this information will not be passed to any other parties, including the end employer.
